Baltic Wharf Riverside Revival
These web pages outline a vision of how the Baltic Wharf site might be revived and what it could look like in the future. In October 2007, South Hams District Council published the Totnes and Dartington Preferred Options Plan, which highlights Baltic Wharf as one of the key sites in the town for redevelopment.

The site owners consulted the local community on preliminary plans during 2008. Final plans have now been published that take into account feedback from the consultation process and worsening economic conditions. However, like the original proposals, they still provide
for over 400 jobs on the site in total (approximately 100 people work there currently) and up to 90 affordable homes.
In May 2009, these plans were submitted to South Hams District Council for outline planning permission.
